2007 HIGHLIGHTS

Co-Chairs Susan Chabot, Shirley LaPine and Jennifer Roy & their committee produced a stunning 2007 Festival, making it our largest and most successful fundraising effort ever.   Nearly $115,000 was raised, which will partially fund our daily operations at Ann’s Place. Special thanks to Toyota and the Sheet Metal Workers International Assoc. Local 38 for their devoted support.

2008 FESTIVAL - COMING YOUR WAY WITH GREAT NEW ENTERTAINMENT & ACTIVITIES!

We are pleased to announce that the 2008 Festival is being held in November
. Details will be posted here soon.

We invite teams from companies, area organizations and families to place their tree in competition for top honors at the 2008 Festival. Trees are already available for the early bird decorators to get started on.  Quilters are encouraged to begin soon on their masterpieces to help create a display of stunning handmade quilts in the Quilters’ Corner.

With one-of-a-kind wreaths, unique gift items, and live entertainment, this is truly the Festival year not to be missed!

To participate as a Tree or Event Sponsor, call (203) 790-6568 for more details.  To be on our mailing list for the Festival announcements, e-mail us at festival@annsplace.org.

To participate as a tree designer, please e-mail sue.chabot@sbcglobal.net.

To volunteer during Festival days, e-mail Jackie Morrison - jackie@annsplace.org.

If you want to participate as a quilter, contact Jean Conover at jconover6146@sbcglobal.net . Our international contact for quilts coming from other countries is Selma Kenter at arktekstil@superonline.com

If you are sponsoring or decorating a tree yourself, NOW is the time to select your theme and source materials.  Trees are on-site at Ann’s Place to select from.  You may specify and reserve a 3' up to a 7.5’ size tree in advance.  Trees are included at no extra charge with Major Sponsorships of $250, $500, $750, $1,500 and $3,000, $5,000, $7,500 and $10,000.   Sponsors of $750 or more may request that one of our volunteer decorators design and trim the tree.  Specifying a theme early gives our decorators time to source appropriate or hard-to-find materials.

Our most profound thanks go to Stephen M. Quaranto, President/Business Manager of Local Union 38 of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association & the union members for their generosity in allowing us to use their outstanding Starr Ridge Banquet & Conference Center for our Festival from 2005-2007. This incredible donation has helped the Festival grow, truly making them our heroes and mega sponsors!
