Meet Our Therapy Dog for Kids

Children, ages 6 to 12, who have a family member living with cancer are invited to join us at Ann’s Place, The Home of I CAN, for a session with a therapy dog.  Pictured here is Tyler, our first therapy dog.

Therapy dogs are often able to reduce stress and anxiety in people.  They can help improve communication, provide comfort and companionship, and increase emotional well-being.  Tyler, a Shetland sheep dog, works for families whose lives have been changed by a cancer diagnosis.

To register for this free program, please call Su,  Margie, Cheryl or Paula at Ann’s Place, at 203-790-6568.
