Lives Interrupted, Art by Those Affected by Cancer

June 2014 - Ann's Place is pleased to host its first ever on-sight art show "Lives Interrupted Art by Those Affected by Cancer." The show features over 20 area artists' work exploring different perspectives of the cancer journey.

Also featured is "Survivors" work by photographer Kristen Jensen in memory of Jude Calligros, as well as 1,000 Paper Cranes generously donated and installed by The Ridgefield High School Key Club.

A reception was held on June 5 with speaker Gail Pezzimenti.  The event was well attended by survivors, artists, and art lovers from across our community, and indeed across the country!

Thanks to "The Foodies at Ann's Place" for providing nibbles and Cabot Cheese for providing cheese for the event. There's still time to check out the show before it ends on June 30th.
