Why do we practice Tai Chi?
Tai Chi is often referred to as ‘meditation in motion’. Incorporating gentle, controlled movements with breathing exercises, the art can be practiced by many people with different levels of dexterity.
The movements of Tai Chi are meant to resemble nature, and the benefits of combining them with the focus of meditation can add to a complimentary wellness plan for survivors who are currently undergoing or who have completed treatment.
Nancy Ryan has been leading clients in Tai Chi at Ann's Place for the past ten years, and offers classes every Monday evening at 6 pm. If you are interested in attending, please call 203-790-6568 for more information.
