VOLUNTEER
As a volunteer for Ann’s Place, you can honor a survivor or a loved one who has been touched by Cancer. Ann’s Place relies on the generosity of friends, like you, who have the spirit of volunteerism to ensure individuals and families facing cancer in your local community have the help and hope they need, free of charge.
Ann’s Place continues to monitor Covid-19 restrictions closely and we work diligently to keep our building and our events as safe as possible.
Currently we are in need of volunteers in the following areas:
Events in the Community – to help us to raise funds and friends, which is crucial to be able to continue providing our services free of charge. We have various events throughout the year including a Golf Outing, a 5K Run and the Festival of Trees to name a few.
Sponsorship Committee – help make calls to partner agencies. Flexible schedule.
Green Team – to help keep our grounds looking beautiful. Flexible schedule. Can work independently or work with others. Some volunteers “adopt” a garden or part of our grounds, while others may come in for group clean up days.
Clean Team – help us sterilize our building after use. So important for the safety or our clients and staff, especially those who are immunocompromised. Cleaning products are provided. Availability is Monday-Thursday, 10am-4pm.
