Winter Solstice; The Longest Night

  • Ann's Place Inc. 80 Saw Mill Road Danbury, CT 06810 (map)
Join us on the Winter Solstice, the day with the shortest amount of daylight, leading to the longest night. This night we will gather to recognize and make space for our sorrow and grief, whether it be from the loss of a loved one or the losses felt from a cancer diagnosis, during a time that is heavy with expectations of joy and good cheer. This night we gather in a gentle community so we can find introspection and peace from music, art, words, and the compassion of others. We will gather to respect and acknowledge the darkness and find hope in the inevitable return of the light.

Date: Sunday, December 21 Time:4:30- 6:30p.m. Place: in-person at Ann's Place Facilitator: Alison DiPinto, LPC and Jacqueline Ondrey, M.Ed.

Weather permitting a small portion of this program will be held outside, so please dress warmly.

*If you are unable to make 4:30p.m., please feel free to join us at whatever time you can. Space is limited so please register in advance.
