Fun with Food: Overcoming Obstacles After Diagnosis

After a cancer diagnosis, one of the biggest challenges can be navigating food choices—what to eat, what to avoid, and how to make meals both nourishing and enjoyable. But food is more than just fuel; it can be both medicinal and delicious, providing essential nutrients that support the body’s ability to fight cancer while also offering comfort during a difficult time. The right foods can help strengthen the immune system, reduce inflammation, and improve overall well-being—all while bringing a sense of joy and normalcy back to the table.

In Fun with Food: Overcoming Nutritional Obstacles After Diagnosis, participants will explore nutrient-dense foods to support the body during cancer treatment—both for themselves and their caregivers. They will also discover how food preparation can serve as a therapeutic tool, learn to find balance in their choices, lifestyle adjustments, and incorporate these nourishing foods into emotionally satisfying meals that bring comfort to both the palate and the heart."
